Chase Swimming Club Championships 2024 - That's a wrap

The Chase Swimming Club Championships has just wrapped up after two thrilling weekends of competitive swimming. Across both weekends, swimmers from all age groups brought their best to the pool, showcasing their hard work, progress, and team spirit. Here’s a recap of the key moments and results from the event:

Championship Highlights:

Swimmers delivered their best performances throughout the two weekends, with most achieving personal bests and creating the first Chase club records - new for this year. All new club records are recorded on our Club Champs page, don't forget these are up for breaking for the first time next year.

Weekend 1 Recap: The first weekend saw great competition, with several swimmers starting strong and setting the tone for the following weekend. The atmosphere was buzzing with energy as families and supporters filled the stands to cheer on their swimmers.

Weekend 2 Recap: The second weekend kept the excitement going. This weekend also served as a culmination of the efforts put in by the fundraising team when the raffle was drawn and those pickled onions were finally won! We also saw some amazing swims from our Learn to Swim section of the club where nothing but excitement and amazing team support from the swimmers shone through. 

Looking Ahead: With the club championships now behind us, Chase Swimming Club is already gearing up for our upcoming Roebuck meet in October, Winter Regionals and Winter Nationals, where many of our top performers will compete. We then move into County Championships in the new year where swimmers will aim to qualify for the larger competitions next year. The dedication, resilience, and sportsmanship displayed over these two weekends are sure to propel them to further success.

A huge thank you goes out to all the volunteers, coaches, parents, and supporters who contributed to the smooth running of both weekends. Your efforts helped create a fantastic experience for all. Congratulations once again to all our swimmers for their incredible achievements, and we look forward to more successes in the future!
