Don Porter memorial Gala

Chase swimming club lifted the trophy at the Don Porter Memorial swimming gala, held at Cheslyn Hay. In a superbly contested event, featuring a novelty skins relay as the final race, Chase narrowly secured victory over Newcastle and Walsall swimming clubs respectively.

The event was organised by Wombourne swimming club to remember their former Head Coach who founded the club in 1985.

Chase head coach Paul Granger was delighted to receive the memorial award from Dom’s daughter Clair and his grandson Zak.

Well done to all competitors from all teams.
