Chase Swimming Club Welcomes New Junior Coach
June 15th 2026We are delighted to announce the appointment of Adam Whitehouse as our new Junior Coach, starting with immediate effect.
Following the departure of our previous coach a few months ago, we would like to take this opportunity to thank all our parents and members for their patience and continued support while we undertook a recruitment process. Ensuring we found the right person for our swimmers and the club was incredibly important to us.
Adam will take responsibility for both our Junior Development and Junior Performance squads, playing a key role in supporting swimmers across these groups as they continue their progression.
We are very excited about what Adam will bring to Chase Swimming Club. The ideas and plans he has already shared are inspiring, and we are confident he will make a positive and lasting impact.
A Message from Adam
As he begins his role, Adam wanted to introduce himself to the club:
“Firstly, I wanted to thank everyone at Chase Swimming Club for making me feel so very welcome. I felt it was important to introduce myself properly and share a little more about my coaching philosophy and expectations.
I approach coaching with a positive attitude centred on development—both inside and outside the pool. Swimming should provide a supportive environment for our children, offering an important space where they can grow in confidence, belief, and character.
My journey into coaching began through volunteering poolside to support my own children, and since then swimming has become a huge part of my family’s life. I have a background in Sports and Exercise Science, national-level sporting experience, and I hold both Level 1 and Level 2 Swim Coach qualifications.
I absolutely love coaching. Seeing swimmers improve is incredibly rewarding—but more importantly, seeing them grow as individuals is what drives me.
My goal is for Chase to be a happy, driven and unified team across all squads, both in and out of the pool—something everyone can be proud of.
I can’t wait to get started. Please feel free to come and say hello if you see me poolside.”
P.S. I’ve heard the rumours… I don’t just like cake—I love it!
Please join us in giving Adam a warm welcome to Team Chase!
