West Midlands Regional Championships 2025

The West Midlands Regional Championships, held over the weekends of April 26-27 and May 3-5, showcased some awesome swimming. It brought together dedicated swimmers who showed amazing perseverance and determination to achieve their regional times.

The championships saw athletes of all ages and backgrounds coming together to compete and celebrate their love for swimming. Among these talented individuals, a special shout-out goes to Ellie Street, who emerged as the West Midlands champion in the 11/12 age group for the 200m Individual Medley (IM), 800m freestyle, 100m freestyle, 200m freestyle and 200m backstroke. Ellie's performance was nothing short of extraordinary, showing off her exceptional skills and dedication to the sport. Her victories in these tough events highlight her as a standout competitor.

We also recognise and celebrate the efforts of all the swimmers from Chase who took part in the championships. Each swimmer brought their unique strengths and stories of perseverance to the pool. The regional times achieved by so many participants highlight their hard work and dedication, and each swimmer's journey to this stage is commendable.
